THE BANDS
The Shondes: “Riot grrrl radicalism wed to classically structured songs, distortion pedals… and powerful lyrics.” —Village Voice
Beat Radio: “Full of droning, fuzzed-out guitars, bringing to mind iconic groups such as Dean Wareham’s Luna and Galaxie 500. There’s a subtle undercurrent of Americana as well: Brian Sendrowitz’s poignantly unsteady voice conjures up none other than Neil Young (an enduring hero among indie-rockers).” —Newsday
The Unsacred Hearts: “It’s a raw, dark, sexy and dangerous celebration of rock’n'roll.” —Punk Planet
THE READERS
Nichelle Stephens: Producer of the long-running Chicks and Giggles comedy show, co-founder of Cupcakes Take the Cake.
Mick Stingley: Staff writer for Metal Edge, contributor to KNAC.com and Yankee Pot Roast.
Brandy Barber: Co-producer of Mortified!, contributor to BUST and Playgirl.
